Ayyup loves!

Not a lot happened this week so this is going to be a fairly short email but I have lots of pictures so it's okay because I know that's what most of you skip to anyway.

Alethea came to church yesterday!! Wow it was such a miracle!! It was so good for her and she seemed to really enjoy it! She is really putting in her effort to receive an answer from God which is so amazing!!

We mostly did a lot of finding again this week and have some appointments set up for these week so hopefully they will go well. The ward is really starting to involve us and are thinking about introducing us to their friends which is SO GOOD.

K so about the subject line. I have been having a lot of pain in my right foot for the past few months and my companion finally convinced me to go to the doctors. The doctor told me I am too clumsy and I roll my foot too much when I walk so it's putting a lot of stress on it and if I had left it any longer I would have fractured it. So they gave me insoles to keep my foot more stable. Then yesterday while we were knocking I was walking down some steps and I rolled my foot and the next thing I knew my knee was on the pavement. Like I ate the ground so hard. So I'm really glad I got insoles to prevent my foot from rolling☺️ I didn't get as cool of a battle wound as I was hoping though which was disappointing. Especially with how hard I hit the ground.

That's about it for this week. Enjoy the many pictures. LOVE YOU ALL.

Hi!!!!!!!!!

Okay first I just want to say thank you to my dad for being a stellar dad and for taking care of me and family so much!! He is the best example to me and I am so grateful to have someone like him in my
life. He's goofy and eats more ice cream than anyone I know and who wouldn't want that kind of influence in their life?! I LOVE YOU DAD.

This week was good! We went on exchange with the sister Training leaders which was a lot of fun! I went with Sister Peterson and I just love her! She is so amazing! But because of that exchange we ran out of food in the middle of the week... so we had to get pretty creative with our meals because we were too busy to run to the shop and get a bit of food. But we survived.

We got to do service as well which was fun! We did gardening for like 2 hours so we were really gross afterwards but it was still great!

We had a lesson with Alethea which was super good!! She said she had decided to drop us before we came over but then during the lesson something told her she had to keep going so that was so amazing!!! The whole lesson was guided by the spirit. We taught something completely different than we had planned and it was awesome!!

I didn't have anything out of the ordinary happen to me this week so sorry if that's the only reason you read this email...

Lastly, it was really great to not only focus on what my earthly father has done for me but also for what my Heavenly Father has done for me. I just had a prayer of gratitude last night. There is a lot to
be thankful for. I found myself thanking him for the littlest things. I don't know how I could go through this life without him. I know He loves us all!!!

I hope everyone has a great week!! Love you and miss you all!!

Ello

This week wasn't as exciting as last week but still fun. We had Zone Conference on Tuesday which is always fun! We focused on submitting our will to God's which sounds really hard and scary at times but, in the end, it's the easiest option.

We had a lesson with our investigator Gladys which is good. She is progressing nicely towards  baptism. Unfortunately she was too ill to come to church yesterday but she really wants to come!

The only other exciting thing that happened this week was we met a guy named Nick. Pretty sure he wasn't in his right mind when we talked to him but we set up an appointment with him for Thursday. He tickled my teeth haha.

Anyway, that's about it for this week. Our district leader has asked us to focus on the Atonement of Jesus Christ a lot this week so it's been really good to get to know Him a bit more this week. It's amazing that He loved us enough to do that for us.

I hope you have a great week! I love you and miss you allllllllllllllll!!!!!!

Hello all

This week was pretty much just a typical week of "Awkward Moments feat. Sister Montgomery"

1. On Wednesday we tried by this former potential in our maps and she let us in after buzzing her flat number. We get up to her flat and the first thing we see is flesh. Her husband was just walking around in the smallest pair of underwear you could imagine. So we both just looked up to the ceiling and asked if there was a better time we could come back and she said "oh. No he's just a nudist. He only wears clothes when I tell him to. He's putting on trousers don't worry." So he did but he still didn't have a shirt and he wasn't exactly the slimmest of guys. Poor Sister Tautkus was horrified and was just thinking "what on earth is going on??" And I was just thinking "seriously? Again?"

2. We were visiting a less active on Thursday and she shares a house with some other people and her, slimmer than the previous guy but still not Ryan Gosling, roommate came into the room half naked and started making a cup of tea, trying to make conversation with her while we're trying to show a video.

3. Friday during weekly planning, we were just planning away minding our own business when all of a sudden some guy just starts cleaning our windows? Like why tho?

4. We were talking to this lady on the street and in the middle of the conversation she starts talking to some friends who were passing by (without saying goodbye to us) and has her back turned to us. She just left us awkwardly standing there by ourselves so we just slowly walked away and then finally her friend said goodbye so we said goodbye and got out of there.

5. Thankfully Sunday is a day of rest so I was able to rest from my awkward moments for a day.

Sister Tautkus said "I have never had so many weird awkward things happen to me until you became my companion!" Which is pretty much what all of my companion's have said to me. It's a curse.

Sunday night though!!!!! The Piano Guys came to Leeds to do a fireside which was AMAZING!!!! We brought our investigator Alethea and it was so perfect for her!! Literally everything they said was for her. They are so talented and have such amazingly strong testimonies and are great examples of turning your will over to God's. I also got to see some good mission friends which was so much fun! I finally got to see Sister Koepf after 7 months!! It was so nice to see her. And I got to see Sister Pinther again as well!

Hope you all have a great week and I love you and miss you all!!!!!!!!!

First, my heart and prayers go out to the people affected by the tragedy in Manchester. Our President texted us Tuesday morning letting us know and I just felt like crying. But I am grateful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation and to know that this life is not the end and we will be able to see our loved ones again.

So we got transfer calls and I am leaving Pontefract already!! So crazy!! Sister Zurita is going to be training a new sister and I'm going to York to serve with one of my best mission friends, Sister Tautkus!!!!!! I am so beyond excited!! I am really sad to be leaving Pontefract already, though. This week was amazing! We got two new investigators named Claire and Gareth and we scheduled Andrew for baptism!!! We took a member with us to the lesson with Andrew and he was perfect to bring! He's a recent convert and has such love for the gospel! It was amazing!! But I know Sister Zurita and this new sister will take great care of them and I will be able to come back when they get baptised because I won't be going too far. :)

That's about it for this week. I hope you all have a great week!! Love you and miss you!!

Sister Zurita and I are so done with Elder Greener

We chased down the ice cream truck for these.

All the spider's are coming out of hibernation now and I have had to kill at least 2 spiders a day this week. I'm sick of it. I make Sister Zurita kill the ones on the ceiling though because I have this fear that they will jump on my face right before I kill it. Or that it's corpse will fall on my face after I have killed it.

Other than that this week has been good! We had another lesson with Andrew which was really nice because he was a lot more open and accepting to the answers we gave him to his questions. And I'm sure that's because he has been reading the Book of Mormon. We lost contact with Jacquelyn for a bit but then miraculously bumped into her at the bus station send she explained that she has had a really hard week. So we went back to her house with her and we talked to her for a bit. She said she was praying the night before for help and she believes Heavenly Father lead us to her that day to help her. Heavenly Father is pretty fantastic.😊

A cool experience I had this week: we had a Sister's meeting and the theme was based on the Young Woman's values. I was assigned to give a little instruction on individual worth. While Sister Chantry was giving her instruction on Divine Nature I was thinking a bit about what I might say and a thought came into my head that said "I don't want you to feel down about yourself or think that you aren't good enough to do this. Because I've been through it and it's not something I want you to have to go through" and then I thought "oh yeah that would be a nice thing to add to say to them." But for some reason I was getting so emotional when that thought came to my head and I was so confused why I was getting so emotional over that thought. Then I heard another voice that said "because it's for you. That thought was from me to you." And then I just about lost it which was really inconvenient because I had to give an instruction after that. But I felt so overwhelmed with love from my Saviour in that moment. I knew in that moment that Jesus Christ knows my doubts and has felt the same way so He knows exactly how I feel. I know I have talked about this before but I will talk about it over and over again because it's what I have the strongest testimony of. The Saviour's love is real and for everyone. Turn to Him for peace and He will give you it.

I love you and miss you all!! Have a fantastic week!

Zone P Day in Harrogate

THIS WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. I LOVE THE MEMBERS HERE.

Hello everyone!! This week was so good!! We found two new investigators!! One named Andrew and one named Jacquelyn. Both are so great and I am so excited to help them on their journey towards Christ!! A cool thing about Jacquelyn was the elders gave her a Restoration Pamphlet and she said she carries it with her everywhere because it helps her feel protected and safe!! Ah she is so sweet!!

Then we went to York for exchange on Wednesday. I was with Sister Connolly and I love her to bits. We just laughed the whole exchange. Then, of course, yesterday I was able to do what all of your Facebook feeds were full of. TALK TO MY FAMILY. It was a good day😊

I just want to thank all the women in my life who have been a mother figure to me. I love you all and I hope you all had an amazing day.

For my mom, she soars above all others. She lifts me up in times of need. She's a pretty fly chick. I jump for joy when I see her. She has glided me through tough times. I will fall into her arms when I see her again. I wouldn't spin into any other mother's arms because I love mine. PARKOUR!!!!!

Love you and miss you all!!
