HERROOOOO!!!!!!!

This week FLEW BY. We kept busy all week it was great!

We went on exchange in South Shields with Sister Tautkus and Sister Schwendiman. They are such amazing missionaries and great examples of diligence and hard work and keeping positive even things don't seem to be working out!! :)

So we taught Lawrence this week and he is SO prepared! He is scheduled for the 18 November and he is progressing so nicely! And Amanda is being great at helping him to read his scriptures and pray everyday! He came to church yesterday and the ward was so welcoming to him!

Rachel also came to church yesterday and it was SO GOOD. She was talking more about her baptism with members and she seemed a lot more confident talking about it! She is doing so great!!

We found a few more cool people who we will be seeing this week which I will keep you updated about. :)

FRIDAY WAS THE MOST HILARIOUS DAY. So Elder Foster of the Seventy came to our mission for a mission tour. The South of the mission met with him on Friday and the North met with him on Saturday. I'm in the North but he wanted to have a leadership meeting in Huddersfield after the tour on Friday. So we took a train in the morning to get there for 2 but we BARELY missed the train we were supposed to catch with the conductor staring at us cynically the whole way out the station😑 so we found an alternate route that would get us to Huddersfield at the same time the other train would have. We had to change trains in York (❤️) but as we were heading to Leeds there was a fight that broke out on the train. So when we got to Leeds the police had to come and sort it out which delayed us quite a bit! But we managed to somehow make it to the meeting with 8 minutes to spare! The meeting was supposed to be 2 hours long but hen ended up only being an hour🙂But then on the way back!!!!!!!!!! Good heavens. We got the train with Elder Zeck and Elder Holyoak back to Newcastle and I don't think we could have fit any more people on that train. It made for a real awkward 2 hours as we were trying our best to still be as far away from the Elders as we could😂 bless our hearts.

Then Saturday we had our mission tour and it was really good! We had it in York (❤️) and I got to see Dylan!! But it was a really good meeting! We talked a lot about having a vision about what we want to become. He talked about how it's more about what we become than what we do! Heavenly Father has a vision for us and he sees our potential but it's up to us to let him mold us into who he wants us to be!

So a lot of travelling this week but Heavenly Father still blessed us with so many miracles! Love you all and hope yous have a champion week!!

Hiya!!

Wow what a week full of miracles!!

It was a bit of a slower week to start off with but then towards the end of the week we saw so many miracles!! Friday we had interviews with President Turvey which is always a joy! I love speaking to him and Sister Turvey! After interviews President and Sister Turvey came teaching with us to a lesson with Amanda! It was fun to teach with them and it was a great experience for Amanda!

Saturday we realized we hadn't printed out the programs yet and there weren't any print shops open that was close to us so we had to go to Gateshead which took up most the day. We barely got back in time to have enough time to fill the font!! But we got it. :) everything else went smoothly though!! She brought four of her friends!! All of which now have a Book of Mormon each. :) and we are teaching one of them on Wednesday!!

Sunday was good! Rachel kind of bailed on her baptismal interview so after church we went over to her house to see what was up and we caught her just as she was about to go out to the shops. We asked if we could see her instead and she said yes. We then found out why she was going to the shops and let me tell you she was not about to choose the right. But we got her just in time! And she recognized that that was not a coincidence and that it was an answer from God telling her to keep working towards baptism!! It was such a huge miracle!!

That's about it for this week!! Hope yous have a good one!! Love you!!

Hellooooooo!!

Wow what an exciting week!!

So last week I mentioned Amanda and Rachel. Both still doing really well!! Amanda got interviewed for baptism last week and she passed!! She will be getting baptised on Saturday!! I am so excited for her!! She is so prepared!! She has been taught everything by the missionaries in Singapore and then she moved here and has come to church the past three weeks and she is getting baptised!! It just
shows that no effort is ever wasted and we are all on the same team!! I am so grateful for those missionaries in Singapore!! They were proper good man!!

Rachel had to have her date pushed back a week which was sad but she should be getting interviewed this week and getting baptised next week!!😊 she came to a European broadcast with Elder Ballard yesterday and loved it!! She is so glad to have good friends with good standards after not having that her whole life!!

We also had Zone Conference this week which was lots of fun!! We learned a lot about teaching the fruit of the doctrine and being fountains instead of drains.

I also got to go on exchange with Sister Cook in North Shields!! She is so cute!! I LOVE her!! We had so much fun!!

1 Nephi 20:10 "For, behold, I have refined thee, I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction."
Sometimes Heavenly Father gives us trials to prepare us for our future. He always has a plan and a purpose for everything!

Love you all!! Have a great week!!

It's nee bofah! I'm going doon toon, me.

That's how people talk here.......YES

MAN WHAT A CRAZY WEEK.

I took the train from Sheffield to Doncaster Tuesday morning and then I met my new companion Sister Ashcroft! She is so cute!! She is from Arizona and she is such a fireball missionary! We had a car for the first few days which was really nice!! We got to drive down to MLC on Friday which was good. We got smart phones to help us further hasten the work. I'm still trying to get used to it. It's been so weird having a smart phone again.

We found a new investigator on Thursday! His name is William. We were teaching an investigator Colin in the Library and William overheard us and after our lesson with Colin, William asked us to pray with him so we did and he is now scheduled for 28 October!! He is so cool!!

We are working with quite a few people who are preparing for baptism!! Two of them, Amanda and Rachel, will be interviewed this week to be baptised next week!! So exciting!!

Ether 12:27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

Hope you have an amazing week and stay frosty!!

Heyyyyyy

Not a lot of stuff really happened this week but it was still good! We went on exchange with the Doncaster sisters again which was lots of fun!! I was with Sister Majc and we had fun! It was kind of a shorter exchange but it was still good.

We found a new investigator named Katrina! She is so cool! The Doncaster sisters found her for us! She is really interested in the after life and being able to see her family again so we were able to answer a lot of her questions! We are seeing her again tonight!

General Conference was ACE!!!! Man I loved it so much! I especially loved Elder Holland's talk! I loved how he talked about how Heavenly Father loves us so much but we still need to keep his commandments because He just really wants what is best for us!!

Also it was really sad to hear about Elder Hales. He is really going to be missed.

We got transfer calls!! I am moving to Newcastle!! It's super close to Scotland so I am going to FREEZE. Also people in Newcastle talk really funny and even other English people can't understand them so that's going to be awesome...My new companion is going to be Sister Ashcroft! I have heard lots of good things about her so that's good! I just wish President would let me stay with my companion for longer than a transfer.....

I'm way excited and I look forward to this week! I hope you all have a great week! Love and miss you all!!!!!
