So my new companion is Sister McCombs from California. She's amazing! She's hilarious and we get along so well! She's a new Sister Training Leader and her dad asked her how her first week being a "Lady Zone Leader" was haha.
Well let me tell you it's been a week. It's been really crazy and busy with a bunch of Sister Training Leader stuff. But it's been alright.
I know this week will be better and I'm excited for what this week will bring. The Lord will provide. :)
D&C 6:36 Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.
Love you and miss you all so much!

I FINALLY GET TO STAY IN AN AREA FOR MORE THAN A TRANSFER.
Sister Eschgfäller is unfortunately leaving me to go to Leeds. Sister Eschgfäller has become one of my best friends and I am so sad to see her go but I will be getting Sister McCombs. I've never met her but I have heard great things about her so I'm excited to work with her this transfer!
I'm also excited to be staying because we found a new investigator this week! And I finally get to stay to work with him! His name is Rez and he is so cool! We invited him to be baptised and he was like "of course! Yeah I'll do that!" I just wanted to cry when he said that. He is scheduled for the 9 of September so please keep him in your prayers! He loves the Book of Mormon and asked us for another one because he gave his to his friend to start reading. He's already a great missionary!
Yesterday was an adventure because we (I) lost our phone...So we are now phoneless for a few days. Yay.
Spiritual thought: an Elder who is going home this week shared a scripture in his departing testimony on Sunday. He shared Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." I find that to be so true. I know everything I have accomplished, I have accomplished because of my Saviour. He loves us and wants to help us with everything. No matter what it is.
I hope yous have the best week and I love you all!!

Hello!!
Tuesday we had a little blitz with the elders which was interesting. Not something I thought I would ever do but it was an experience haha. They just called us and told us to meet them at a street and then we would tag team. It was good though. We learned a lot. It also poured rain all day and we got to our tea appointment later that night and Sister Nettleship made us put her clothes on while she put our clothes in the drier! She is so cute!
We had interviews on Wednesday with President which was really good! The assistants gave some great training on how we can get our investigators to better make and keep commitments which was something we needed training on. The interview was good. Of course my favourite part was talking to Sister Turvey. I just love her.
Thursday to Friday we had exchange with the Sheffield 3 sisters which was fun! I was with Sister Keung from New Zealand! She is so cute and we had so much fun! I loved spending time with the Sheffield 3 sisters they are hilarious and such amazing missionaries.
The weekend was a bit rough but I'm so grateful I have the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation. I'm grateful I have such amazing missionaries in my area that look out for me. I'm grateful for my President and his wife and their love for me. I'm grateful for the sacrament and for the Priesthood. I'm especially grateful for my Father in Heaven and Saviour Jesus Christ. I know I will see my Grandpa again and I know he is looking over me and my family. I love him and miss him but I will see him again.
I love you all and hope you guys have the best week!
Cheers!

This week went so fast! Tuesday we visited a bunch of less-actives and recent converts and then the sisters from Doncaster came and stayed the night since we would be going to Huddersfield bright and early the next morning! I didn't have to get up as early as last Mission Conference though which was good.
Wednesday was so amazing!! We had a mission fast from Tuesday to Wednesday and it was so powerful to do that! It really prepared us spiritually to hear from an Apostle of the Lord. We got a mission picture with him and we each got to meet him and the other brethren afterwards. It was such a powerful meeting. The Spirit was so strong and I learned so much!! They talked a lot about our success this past month and how we need to keep that going on into the next month, and the next, and the next, etc. I also loved being with all the missionaries in my mission again. I have so much love for all of them and for my mission President and his wife. We were singing Called to Serve and I was just looking around at all of them and just started to cry because I love them so much and it was just a really great day.
Friday we had MLC. It was really good!! But it was also so sad because so many missionaries are leaving this transfer and it's going to be rough without them. But we just have to keep the amazing work they have done going. They have all had such an impact on my mission and all that I have learned, I learned from them. I'm going to miss them so much! I just cried all day basically.
Yesterday Sister Eschgfäller got really sick and slept basically all day so I was incredibly bored all day. We did get to go to church in the morning which was really nice! We had so many recent converts, less-actives, and even an investigator give their testimonies!! It was one of the most spiritual fast and testimony meetings I have been to.
Spiritual Thought: in 1 Nephi 5, Nephi goes to Laban to get the plates from him which has the genealogy of his father, Lehi. They tried a few different things with no success and Nephi decides to try one more time. This is was he says: 6 And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do. 7 Nevertheless I went forth, I love Nephi's faith in these two verses. He had no idea what he was going to do or how he was going to approach Laban but he trusted the Lord and knew He would provide. Nephi is such an amazing example to us of letting Heavenly Father be in charge and knowing He knows best.
I love you all! Have a lovely week!
