Yalright?!

Wow can you believe it's been three months since I left on my mission?! Man, so crazy! Feels like a year!

This week was really good and busy! So I actually lied. I went on exchange with Sister Caughill's companion Sister Majc. She is from Slovenia!! She is so cool! I realised after that we forgot to take pictures though...But it was a lot of fun and I learned so much from her! She is such an amazing missionary and will do amazing things throughout her life!

So remember Secret Agent Adam? Well we are teaching him now and he has a baptismal date for the 19 August! Please pray everything goes well!! We saw Warly and Ron again which was a lot of fun! They always give us treats it's great.

Church was amazing yesterday!! I loved taking the sacrament. It gave me so much peace that I needed at that moment! I also finished the Book of Mormon this morning. What an amazing book. I know it's true!! Alam ko na totoo Ang Aklat ni Mormon (I know the Book of Mormon is true in Tagalog...Shout out to Tyler). The Book of Mormon has helped me answer so many questions and still continues to inspire and uplift me no matter how many times I read it!! I LOVE IT.

OH YEAH. So some really exciting news I keep forgetting to include in my email - Elder M. Russell Ballard is coming to our mission to speak to us this week!! SO EXCITING!! Especially since we just had President Nelson last year!! What a blessing!! I'll be sure to write about that next week!!

This week was a good one!!

We found a new investigator named Abetor. She is so cool! We carried her grocery bags for her and then she invited us in. She gave us some water and we started to share a message with her and then her sons came in and they ranted to us about race and religion the whole rest of the time...so...But we are seeing her again tonight haha.

Then we also have some new investigators name Warly and Ronald from the Philippines. They are so awesome!! They have such strong faith and Warly came to church yesterday! It was so good! We are seeing them again this week.

Sister Zurita emailed me and told me that Claire and Gareth (investigators me and her found in Pontefract) got baptised!!!! I was so excited!!!

Then we went to a member's BBQ for his birthday because there were some people he wanted us to teach there. So we got there and after a few minutes of eating and chatting, he dims the lights, turns on some disco lights, changed his shirt which said "DJ Kim Disco Fever South Yorkshire" and then he turned on an intro for himself....Then he started playing worldly music so then we had to leave....Oh my heavens it was hilarious.

I have my first exchange as an STL tonight which is exciting! I will be going with Sister Caughill from Toronto Canada.

Welcome to my third area in three transfers🙃

Sheffield is so much fun wow!! It reminds me a lot of Grimsby but it's a bit cleaner and smells a bit nicer but it's about as crazy!! We just saw a fight brake out in town so that was fun.

Sister Eschgfäller and I have pretty much just been finding this week which has been very tiring but it's been a lot of fun because we just laugh all the time. It's amazing. She is hilarious. I love her!!

We met this guy named Adam who was a lot of fun. He talked to us for about an hour about some real deep stuff and we had no clue what he was talking about so we would just say "wow that's profound" and then he would say "I am profound" but I swear he was some undercover agent from the future and he had to rely on two sister missionaries to give a load of information to to warn us about how the future will be. He would say something then stop mid sentence and quickly look behind his as if someone was watching him. It was hilarious. He said he was going to have an LSD party and I told him to have a Book of Mormon party instead and gave him one. He said okay.

After we talked to him we were walking and saw a guy with a dog outside a shop so we told him his dog was cute then the next I knew I was holding the dog's lead so he could go in the shop to buy something. It was hilarious. Then when he came out he said thanks so we asked for his name and he looked at us and went "😏Elvis😎" oh my heavens it was great.

I just want to testify about the power of the Book of Mormon. There is not a more true book! I know Joseph Smith translated it through the power of God. The Book of Mormon is my anchor and I can't imagine my life without it! I encourage you all to read it
everyday!!!!!!!!!

Okay wow seriously the craziest week of my life. So buckle your seat belts.

So first! Dylan came to FHE and Institute and loved both of them!! The YSA is fellowshipping his so well it's amazing!!

K so Wednesday. I got a call from President Turvey and he has called me to be a Sister Training Leader. I'm pretty excited but also extremely nervous and overwhelmed!! HAHA. But it will be good. It feels like I'm restarting my mission again haha. I felt so young when I was at Mission Leadership Council on Friday. So I had to drive down to Leeds with the ZLs and STLs and Sister Tautkus went to Selby for the day and that took up the whole day. It was crazy. So I am moving to Sheffield to be with Sister Eschgfäller from Paraguay!! I am really excited!! I'm just making my way around the whole entire mission haha.

Saturday was so fun!! We did service in the morning for some members which was a lot of fun!! And then they gave me cookies and ice cream and sang to me and called me Katie and it was the weirdest thing of my life. Then we had to do our weekly planning after that and then basically just tried to find people the rest of the day. But it was sooo fun!! It was seriously one of the best birthdays!! Thank you
everyone for the birthday wishes and cards!!

The past few days have just been saying sad goodbyes. I seriously am going to miss this ward. I love this ward and Stake. I'm so sad to be leaving already. But I'm excited for this next step in my mission.
